Here are a few tips to make search engines love your posts:
- Use keywords. These are key words and phrases within your blog post that make it possible for people to find your website through search engines. You want to write about keywords that your ideal client is searching for and use these keywords throughout your post.
Use paragraphs and headings. Search engines love blog posts that are readable, and using headings and paragraphs to break up your writing and help your reader follow along does just that.
Optimize your graphics. When you upload graphics to your blog, make sure the file name includes your keyword and that you have changed the alternative text (or “alt-text”) to a description of your post that [you guessed it!] includes your keyword.
Link to relevant content throughout. If you mention it, link to it! Not only will that get potential clients clicking around on your website, but this is great for SEO.
